Running Multiple OS’s With VirtualBox

Have you ever wished you could run multiple OS’s on top of your main OS? With a program called Virtual Box you can.  Virtual Box allows you to create your own virtual machines running on top of a host OS.  Right Know I’m running a Ubuntu virtual machine on top of Windows Vista which is my host operating system. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, Macintosh and OpenSolaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4 and 2.6), and OpenBSD.  The best part about Virtual Box is that it’s free. Virtual Box does run under Fedora but I’ve had some trouble with it.  I’m hoping to do an episode of the podcast with detailed instructions for getting Virtual Box to run under Fedora.  Virtual Machines require a lot of memory so...
